You will receive a detailed summary of your child’s
learning profile including:
An easy-to-understand written analysis of your child's educational strengths and needs.
A written list of suggested accommodations for your child.
A written list of suggested IEP goals for your child.
A “What’s Missing/What Should Be Changed” in the current IEP.
A set of suggested questions for you to ask the school about your child's educational plan.
A written Advocacy Action Plan to help you negotiate the changes you want in school.

Phone Consultation
Service Benefits:
When you call K12 Advocates you have access to our
expertise and knowledge as you negotiate the educational
system on behalf of your child. You will have your
questions answered, and receive confidential,
individualized support to problem solve and plan for
your child’s school success.

Meeting Attendance
Service Benefits:
Your advocate will attend the meeting via phone or
web conferencing to help ensure that your voice is heard
at the meeting and that your expertise is of equal
importance in the development of an appropriate
educational plan for your child.

IEP Analysis plus 1 hour Phone Consultation
Service Benefits:
You will receive a detailed summary of your child’s
learning profile with all the components included in an
IEP analysis, plus a one hour phone consultation to get
your questions answered and plan for you child’s school
success.

Comprehensive Advocacy Support
Service Benefit:
Your K12 Advocate will provide you with all the
benefits of an IEP analysis service to ensure that you
fully understand your child’s learning needs. You will
also have the opportunity to consult with your advocate
by phone and/or email for up to 2 hours to ensure that
you are fully prepared for the IEP meeting. With the
guidance of your advocate, you will generate an agenda
for the IEP meeting which will help direct the teams
focus towards the changes you want to see for your
child. Your advocate will attend the meeting via phone
or web conferencing to help ensure that your voice is
heard at the meeting and that your expertise is of equal
importance in the development of an appropriate
educational plan for your child.
